I have a severe issue with my roommate, leading to an extremely hostile barracks environment. Currently being seen at my unit's EBH clinic for depression and social anxiety. Sadly, since I am 51 days from my ETS, they will not allow an administrative separation. Issues with my roommate fall under things like, him not respecting my own space in our shared room, him bringing random local girls in and having sex while I'm in the same room, him talking loudly on the phone until 3 am on work nights.
On one of the instances (him not respecting my space) I recently acted upon. He uses a lot of different hair products, so much that he cannot fit them on his side of the sink or in his medicine cabinet. I told him multiple times to please keep them off my side of the sink, and I simply moved them to the other side. He moved them back, so I gave him an ultimatum. Keep them on his side, or I would throw them out. He responded with "Throw them out, see what happens nigga!" That was 6 days ago, and this morning I found his stuff back on my side. I moved them one last time, and when he put them back i simply put what was on my side into a trash bag and threw it away. I notified my leadership of my problems long ago and nothing has been done. Once he discovers his things have been thrown away, he may contact the MP's, which I understand. The thing is, my leadership was tracking there was an issue with him long before anything needed to escalate to this. Could I possibly take this to IG?

Ithink is time to escalate it, talk to the highest coc, Call the IG if everything fails you may have to take you need to documents all your actions when and were you did notified your change of command and higher coc too including the inspector general, I just would pack of yiur roommate extras garbage place it in a trashbag and put it on his ao... be prepared to make an stand sometimes is always there an bully in our lives get the MP in the speed dial and if is positive record everything in a webcamm.
Bullies are a black eyes to every organization

Dude, you're less than 2 months out! Why would you decide that now's the time to get into it with your roommate? The throwing out of his personal property is actionable, if he makes a big enough stink out of it. If you have any leave, put in for terminal leave and start outprocessing. To answer your question, you can talk to your leadership and if they don't act, you can go to IG. Personally, I think that it would be less of a headache to just tolerate it and for a couple months until ETS.

My problem with that would be, if this guy is doing this now, what happens to the next guy, or the one after that? This guy needs to be stopped now IMO.
