Where do CHBOLC candidates stay? At the barracks or in another type of accommodation?

Where do CHBOLC candidates stay? At the barracks or in another type of accommodation? How often can the family members communicate with the CHBOLC candidates? Do they retire at the end of the day after training?

Officer students stay in lodging. I stayed in the Jackson Inn, though it could be any of the designated lodging facilities.
When classes were larger and the post was overrun with trainees, you'd see some students put in off-post hotels as well.

There was a hotel a few steps from USACHCS. Unless you or your PLT have homework, after school PT, or another activities you're pretty much off. Enjoy your time there. You'll be able to develop long-lasting bonds
