Ok, so I'm not actually enlisted just yet, I'm actually still processing, not even in boot camp yet hahaha... but i wanna be a 19k, and i wanna know where they usually get stationed. Overseas or here in the U.S? also, when does the army usually let you come home to have family time? Once every blue moon, or...?

1. You could be stationed in the United States or you could be stationed elsewhere. Says we don't have very many armored forces outside the US, at this time, you will probably be stationed somewhere within the United States or its territories.
2. You get 30 days a year of vacation. Your leadership will tell you when you can take vacation or leave. You're leaving earning statement will also show you how much vacation you have accrued.
3. You may also get passes such as a 3-day pass which may not count toward your 30 days of leave. When I was active duty, I once got a 3-day pass.
4. Near the end of basic training, your duty station will be told to you. You will have order will showing where you're going to go.
5. You may go to missions all over the world and you may temporarily be stationed somewhere for an exercise in Europe or when deployed during wartime.
6. If you are outside the United States, make sure you have an application like what's up on your smartphone so you don't get ripped off like I did when I was in basic training or when I was in Iraq or Afghanistan. Today's soldiers can have smartphones that use the Wi-Fi and save lots of money.

Personally, I had far too much testosterone in my body to be a 19 anything, let alone a Kilo (13F!), but I know there are a hell of a lot of them at Ft. Hood, Bliss, &Knox. They are stationed with the Armor (Tankers)
