Where do you feel most centered and happy?

The place I feel most centered and happy is the beach. I stay close to the water so that I hear nothing but the waves crashing on the shore.

When I'm home alone, kids are at school, dog is fed and quiet, husband is busy working on his latest project in his work shed, and I've got my music cranked up. I even manage to dance thru the chronic pain sometimes ❤️❤️❤️❤️ My fellow veterans and patriots y'all should check out Tom Macdonald on YouTube. Totally independent musician, my oldest son (25 years old) got me listening to right around the time Trump was elected, and our future looked like it could mirror an episode of Handmaid's tale at any moment. He only speaks the truth and won't shut up! He struggles with depression and anxiety, as do many of us. I can't get enough!

When I hit my bed, after a productive day, and my 80lb dog jumps up and rests his head on my thigh or chest and as he falls asleep in less than 2 min, I don’t though. I am awake for about 30 min - just pondering my day.

When I am caring and helping for my disable wife.and volunteering to help others.❤️❤️❤️

My happiest when I am at home with my wife and 4 wonderful dogs with their unconditional love and also playing with my wonderful 5 year old nephew who has the most beautiful laugh as well as the way he motions to me to come play with him.

When snuggling with my family on the couch, when swimming laps or after doing yoga.

I am centered and happy by being content with myself and accepting inevitable changes around me and with my body. getting out with nature helps me to recenter this contentment.
being happy and centered can only start with being content with ones self.
