What is the operational force knowledge and implementation of using (O low T) Fresh Whole Blood? Dialogue encouraged, what challenges if any have been met?

I'd read of this for some time, I merely knew it existed, you might find their material, if you asked about it, of very real possible use, in that context, I'd be quite surprised if they didn't have active research on that topic, obviously....

These are in the JEMS Journal, they're somewhat more limited, the best I could find at the moment....

And these, they're on the free NIH Medline site, called Pubmed Central....

Try these, you'll see the main NIH Medline search engine, called Entrez Pubmed....

That is an interesting topic...I'd been well aware of crystalloid substitutes for quite some time, however, it is of interest, lemme see if I can find some relevant stuff on the NIH Medline sites, I'll try to send you the links, you'd find them of use, I'll also try to send others I know of as well....

My Army Reserve unit (a medical company) is still stuck in the mire of taskers, powerpoint, med pros updates and last minute requests from higher that prevent useful, real world training, and this that is supposed to be a ready force x unit. We have asked about this numerous times but received no information, policy or training. It is a great idea, could be easily executed and will ultimately save lives, but we haven't heard a thing, even though we have asked over and over again.

This is a great topic and glad you brought it up. We learned about it last cycle at ALC and the baby medics in training are learning it. I would further like to pose a question to the group: where can we find the training literature and supplies to train with?
