Where is my FEDREC Scroll in the DOD Process?

I'm not sure what happened to the "unofficial" FEDREC status board that had been periodically updated with scroll status' but it seems to have been retired, missing, or removed. In any case, please feel free to use this new thread to ask questions and post updates to our little '"Promotion Purgatory Support Group". I do not work for NGB so I will not be able to get you answers, but at least we can re-establish the forum.

STOP! Please read: If you are here, you want info on how long scrolls are taking or to see the status of your scroll. Help the next person by posting your experience. Once your orders are published, come back and make a new response to the original post with your scroll number, date your FEDREC was sent to NGB and the date your orders published.
If we get more people to post, the data gets more reliable and useful. You can then see if your scroll is an outlier and you can raise a flag with your command.
I'm sure people come by and read these posts without adding to the discord. Join the community and help the next person!

I'm on P29-23 and it updated this morning as, Published: SO# 250, 2023-08-03. Nothing beyond that. this was as of 0925 central time this morning. So maybe we will see something this week.

Anybody on P26-23? Mine is still showing at NGB, 0 days.
UPDATE - 8/10/23, List 26-23, Awaiting selection for publication of order.
UPDATE #2 - So I am on vacation and did not look yesterday. Apparently the change for 26-23 was yesterday. I just got my fedrec, dated 9 August with DOR of 2 August.
I first hit the tracker on 18 April 2023 published 10 August 2023. Heck of a lot better than the 330 days it too last time.

CW3 (Join to see) - They haven't published yet. It's been more than 100 days since the packet has been sent to NGB, so I inquired about the process. The fact that NGB is trying to figure out what they need to do to determine what constitutes as "received the FEDREC packet" and starting the ABCMR process doesn't' change anything DoD is doing with our scrolls. The only long term fix will have to happen from inside the organization. The only affect we can have on that would be to submit a ton of ABCMRs as a sign that we care that the process is broken. I'm not trying to be an activist here, I'm just sharing what I've learned.

Well apparently I was promoted to a W4 again. My rank was wrong on the scroll. How that happens is unknown.

Awesome! Congrats! Make sure your speech at your promotion is the right length. If its long, I hope you are making some eyes water. I would only assume that is the case for most CW5 ceremonies.

CW4 (Join to see) - Chief, were you on 98-23? Wondering how that date was provided to you? I also state boarded in Oct, SRAAG board in Jan, been in case review forever at this point now with no updates or insights as to what is going on.

On scroll L04-23, mine says "Awaiting Secretary of Defense Approval; List ID L04-23; 73 Days in DoD Approval cycle"... hoping for orders to publish relatively soon, been waiting for about 7 months now..

Update on D06-23. Awaiting scrolling and DoD approvals; List ID D06-23; 12 Days in DoD Approval cycle. Looks like D05-23 was approved today according to friends.

Was on the list ID P21-23 for CPT. 60+ days in DoD Approval Cycle, now all it says is Awaiting selection for publication of order 78 days. Is this the light at the end of the tunnel?

I am thinking that "something" has changed. Here is my experience with my current UVP. NYS Board convened on 3 May 2023. They immediately sent my packet to NGB where is showed up on the FEDREC tracker in the G1 portal about 10 days later. A few days after that I was assigned scroll P32-23 showing zero days. Here is where it gets weird, I am still showing "0 days" but I am now on scroll P25-23. I can't figure out how / why that happened. I'll be the first to tell you that if they are prioritizing by rank, that's complete BS, we should all be eating an equally portioned pile of dog crap IMHO.

My packet is for a UVP as well. I'm on P25-23. I wonder if they tried to put a bunch of UVPs together to speed it up, but ended up slowing it down. My packet has been in for almost 6 months now.

MAJ (Join to see) - Did your state wait to submit to NGB after their board convened? I got lucky and NYS sent it to NGB within hours of the state board convening. Last time around they held onto it several months before they sent it to NGB.

LTC (Join to see) - AZ had already done the field grade boards and approved me before sending me to the slot with UVP. I think we do that more often than not. Not a lot of O4 slots get filled with under grade unless they are already boarded and ready. That makes most O4 and up slots UVP. I'd still rather have the active component system of get the rank when you earn it and they will find you a slot.

I'll start, P25-23 is currently showing "At NGB; List ID P25-23; 0 Days in DoD Approval cycle" and is at/around 50 days in the scrolling since it started.

Mine shows this status" "Published: SO# 194; 2023-05-24". Anyone have thoughts? The "Published" word raises my eyebrow a bit.
