Where is my FEDREC Scroll in the DOD Process?

I'm not sure what happened to the "unofficial" FEDREC status board that had been periodically updated with scroll status' but it seems to have been retired, missing, or removed. In any case, please feel free to use this new thread to ask questions and post updates to our little '"Promotion Purgatory Support Group". I do not work for NGB so I will not be able to get you answers, but at least we can re-establish the forum.

Once your orders are published, come back and make a new response to the original post with your scroll number, date your FEDREC was sent to NGB and the date your orders published.
If we get more people to post, the data gets more reliable and useful. You can then see if your scroll is an outlier and you can raise a flag with your command.
I'm sure people come by and read these posts without adding to the discord. Join the community and help the next person!

UPDATE: For all of you that are aware of my situation, and for those of you who are not. I submitted an ABCMR back in Jun 22 asking for my effective DOR to be backdated as FEDREC took 1 year, which included my promotion packet being "lost due to the IPSAA transition" for about 6 months. Well... I just logged in to check my status in ACTS. It states, “No Board Action Taken”. Says “The Board could not take any corrective action on this case. You will be notified by mail of the reasons why. Please allow 15 business days to receive in the mail the Board's decision on your application." I am truly speechless and don't know where or what to do now. Hopefully this letter lays it out but I'm not holding my breath. #FML

Request your ABCMR be reviewed by the Secretary of the Army. It’s odd that they did not back date you to the receipt of your packet from your state. Look at my other post and cite the new law signed by the president in January. I’d be very interested to see what the letter says. I’d also assume they closed your ABCMR, so you might need to open another one to get more support. Not the right answer, but it’s definitely worth the effort. I’ll be submitting mine once we get a date of rank for the delayed scroll.

Gents I think we have to accept the reality that both the G1 tracker is broken, and they've buried P25-23 at the bottom of the pile as a massive scroll for reasons only known to FEDREC Satan.....unless you have powerful friends in congressional offices willing to make some calls to NGB.....we're likely going to be unwrapping our rank with the rest of our Christmas presents.

Does anyone know what "Awaiting HQDA approval" means? The Tracker says that it's on Day 7. Scroll number P46-23.

I've never seen that. But you at least have something to read other than "At NGB; List ID P25-23; 0 Days in DoD Approval cycle". That's what it shows for P25. Hasn't changed since April. I'm guessing that Awaiting "HQDA approval" could be the blanket name for everything after DMPM and before SECDEF. I would assume the next change would be "At OSD". But again, I wouldn't trust the NGB Gateway. It's just there to divide and confuse us.

I'm on scroll D07-23. 5 days into the cycle and it says "pending HQDA approval". Was at 0 days for about 60 days.....

Unfortunately none of us work for NGB and I haven't seen anyone with actual knowledge of the scrolls post on here. Best we can do is gauge the scrolls in front of of us to see the rough timeline. P25-23 has been active since middle of april with no G1 tracker movement. The scrolls have been appearing to sit in the "At NGB" status for around 100-140 days before they hit the "At SecDef" status. from there its 10-20 days until orders publish. Wish I had better news.

Very interesting, I got my promotion order on last Friday and with an approval date of 14 JULY 2023, the G-1 tracker now says Published: SO# 250; 2023-08-03. I am assuming the P29-23 is now published for everyone on the scroll

CW4(P) (Join to see) - Interesting. Most likely you are correct. I have an identical status to yours minus the order number but still waiting for it to hit iPERMS. I was on P28-23. Curious how they decide the day for the promotion back date.

From the time it starts tracking on the gateway, its 80-120 days from other posts on here. But it's up to your state and randomness at NGB before it gets to that point. My packet was sent up in late February from my state, but a few people on that same scroll (P25-23) boarded in April/May. You never know if you have an extra couple months on top of the average.

About the same here. Mine was submitted april 1. im 57day in scroll at 34-23. 80 days would be hopeful 100+ is realistic.
