Where is my FEDREC Scroll in the DOD Process?

I'm not sure what happened to the "unofficial" FEDREC status board that had been periodically updated with scroll status' but it seems to have been retired, missing, or removed. In any case, please feel free to use this new thread to ask questions and post updates to our little '"Promotion Purgatory Support Group". I do not work for NGB so I will not be able to get you answers, but at least we can re-establish the forum.

STOP! Please read: If you are here, you want info on how long scrolls are taking or to see the status of your scroll. Help the next person by posting your experience. Once your orders are published, come back and make a new response to the original post with your scroll number, date your FEDREC was sent to NGB and the date your orders published.
If we get more people to post, the data gets more reliable and useful. You can then see if your scroll is an outlier and you can raise a flag with your command.
I'm sure people come by and read these posts without adding to the discord. Join the community and help the next person!

CW5 (Join to see) - that was me. I'm on P25-23. Fedrec and orders published in IPERMS. its not automatic, your state OPM has to post the Fedrec from eTRACKER into iperms and then create a PAR in IPPS-A. process takes only a few minutes to complete but not everyone is checking the system everyday. I called S1 and they were able to contact OPM to push it across the finish line.
G1 tracker never updated past "At NGB P24-23- 0 days" even after the IPERMS.

My status for the last few months has been "At NGB; List ID P27-23; 0 Days in DoD Approval cycle". Is there no other way to track scroll status besides the G1 Tracker or State G1?

That is good, yours should be showing published in a week or so. I’m told it goes really quick once it goes through all the stations. Why they even start the count down is quite odd. Years ago the count down was once NGB received your packet. Now it starts to count once the Awaiting Scrolling ends and the At NGB appears.

CPT(P) (Join to see) keep us updated. I just talked to a guy who was on my original scroll and he just received his orders. He said the count was 70ish days, then published.

P25-23 here... Of course 0 Days in the process after about a month. Not sure why I'm actually expecting something different this time, lol! Tick...tock, tick... tock....

LTC (Join to see) - Sounds like the over/under is next Friday. Your bookie will likely ask for a $110 vig. Are we calling that date being the day iPERMs order drops? I would doubt the gateway would ever update. Once our order publishes, I bet the gateway starts to tick over to "1 Day". I still want to be the optimist. I'll bet under if you're over.
I'm still betting the back-date will be early July because they screwed things up and they don't want to have a case that we can all backdate to the date NGB received the packet.

Mine shows this status" "Published: SO# 194; 2023-05-24". Anyone have thoughts? The "Published" word raises my eyebrow a bit.

Thanks for re-establishing the forum. I'm on scroll P22-23, it shows at NGB 53 days in the DOD Approval Process; however, my promotion packet was submitted late October early November. The counter finally started counting about a month ago, i was at 0 for 120 days or so.

CW4 (Join to see) mine finally came through. Back dated 9June23. The scroll number is unknown due to being ran as a single name. My rank was wrong in the original scroll.
