I re-enlisted at the end of September and ERB was updated as of 04OCT18. Iperms was updated this past Friday and here I am today on day 31 with DFAS having no information regarding my selective reenlistment bonus. The retention NCO just keeps saying that if “things are updating then that’s a good sign” but I’d like more detailed information. Anyone have any insight on what to do? TIA

There were no bonuses at the end of September. In fact, they shut off mid September. So, either you never had a bonus, or your counselor prepped the contract ahead of time and dated it for 1 October or later, meaning it has not even been 30 days yet. Check the date of your contract, it can't be confirmed in the database until the day of the contract.
DFAS never has any information until they receive it from the DJMS, and once they receive it they typically pay within a few days. You will probably be paid sometime this week. Ask your Career Counselor (not the retention NCO) to check the DJMS for the status of your bonus.

Ask your Career Counselor to check the G8 report in RCMS V3. If your name is on that, it will tell you when it will be disbursed. If not, ask for an incentive inquiry. But allow 30 to 60 days for it to process from the date of the effective date.
