This has been bugging me all day, I remember hearing the story of a standard bearer for the Union that marched against a troop of Texans and by the time he had gotten to them they were cheering him on and demanding he be given the MOH. Anyone know if this is real or if I just made it up some how?

Should be able to look it up on line, thru the archives, if not true, than you are good at telling stories.

If you know the Soldiers name you can look it up. There are several books that detail the recipients and their acts. You can also pull the info up online. I don't know if you can pull it by "acts" though.
