There aren't women on NFL teams and the NBA is segregated between men and women. Same thing with college sports. Should this be changed?

NFL and NBA teams do not forbid women from playing in their teams, so there is no outrage.
Unlike some old guard in the military, professional sports teams have no problems with women competing. There just haven't been any women who have surpassed their male counterparts yet. The standards to play in the NFL or NBA are quite a bit higher than being an E-3 in a combat arms position in the US military, and the comparison is quite ridiculous. There are only 300 players in the entire NBA, and because of its pay a lot more people compete for it. This is opposed to a normal high school, in which probably at least 10 or 20% of the male population could qualify and make it through combat arms training if they really wanted to. To make it to the NBA is one in millions.
There is simply no reason to forbid a person from competing from being the best, unless somebody is afraid to be proven wrong.

There is a lot of loopla about Transgender issues and rights and other nonsense. I don't have particular feelings about it either way. You do you, people. I will, however, leave you with this.
"Justice and Education Department officials have repeatedly made clear that under their interpretation of Title IX, the federal anti-discrimination law in education, schools receiving federal funds may not discriminate based on a student's sex, including a student's transgender status.
"The guidance makes clear that both federal agencies treat a student's gender identity as the student's sex for purposes of enforcing Title IX," the administration said Thursday."
So, does this, in essence, mean that an educational institution can take away traditional scholarships mandated for women and give them to men who "identify" as women, who say, play on the football team. The answer is yes. There are zero checks or balances. How long will it take for one of the major D1 programs to take advantage of the new loophole? Can you really fault them for doing so? It's absolutely shameful. I'd be heartbroken if my little sister lost her D1 ride to a man.

I agree with that which is a good point. Whenever a program rolls out everytime they get an idea it fails on the business end. They cant even create jobs for their own out of the deal such as social services to maintain the checks and effeciency against. Waste. Fraud. And abuse. But hey those factors dont exists and are only xenophobe talking points.
