Medalsofhonor
There are 325 triple CIB Infantrymen, and 3,471 Medal of Honor Recipients.
Are there any other medals or badges that have been awarded fewer times than the Medal of Honor?

Got it; I couldn't believe they wanted to put it up with the Bronze Star.

I understand some drone pilots have PTSD from their duties; I feel for those who are suffering, but the fact is that these operators were not in harm's way, went home every night, etc. Certainly not the same as being in the theater of combat...

I agree, plus I feel like we already have enough awards, do we really need a special one for everyone?

We already do have "an award for everybody who serves", it's the A.S.R.!

Definitely those three. The only other way to have three CIBs would be to fight as an Infantryman in Korea, Vietnam or a somehow related conflict as late as the 90s and again Post-9/11 as I understand it. Obviously no one did that. All the triple CIB guys were Veterans of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
