Danner boots are flippin awesome. Expensive, but worth it

If your main focus is durability, I would recommend standard issue. If you don’t want standard issue go to a store with a lot of choices and keep trying them on until you find the most comfortable boots for you, if you’re boots are making your feet hurt you won’t want them to be durable.

Durable may be the wrong word how about long lasting. Something that I can use in a hospital setting?

Most boots are intended for the field, they should last you a long time working in a hospital setting without the wear and tare of the field. Personally I wear Belleville Mini-Mils and wouldn’t go with anything else. Garmont and Danner make some good boots that will last.

Depends on your MOS....My MOS, you were barely able to get 6 months out of any boot you bought. You marched so much you wore the treads off before the leather broke down... Most of us used OD Green Jungle boots with the "plates" stripped out of them, soaked in water for 2 hours and worn until dry.....Just like a pair of sneakers when done...
