Benefit letters are typically mailed each year. Having these sent by email to those who opt in would be beneficial and easy to access. This would likely save a bit of money. In addition, I know for me that one sheet of paper is the only piece I've ever saved.

You can download your benefit letters anytime as often as needed in the VA app or on myhealthevet

CMSgt Nicole Johnson I have in the past when needed, but there are a lot of people that struggle with the online sites for a lot of different reasons.

Using Epic Charts for all health services. That way private providers can share with the VA and combine treatment plans.

Put travel reimbursement kiosks at all VA facilities, and allow community care travel to be logged at those kiosks

Scheduling VA appointments online would be a lot easier to accomplish instead of having to message our PCM to request an appointment or having to call to schedule an appointment. I have messaged my PCM about making an appointment for a particular issue and sometimes they don't respond at all, or in a timely manner. It would just be much easier allowing us to have the ability and access to schedule our own appointments and times online.

The ability to make or reschedule appointments! I just recently had an appointment canceled by my provider the day of. They left a voice-mail and told me to call back to reschedule. I waited on hold for 48 minutes before being disconnected. I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 boys under 3, I don't have the time to be on the phone waiting; so now I no longer have my appointment that I waited 3 months for. Truly frustrating.

After initial prescription, the ream of paper on side effects is redundant and should be available digitally.

I'm legally blind and the kiosks were very helpful to me for signing in and getting my travel pay. However, a better way would be for travel pay to be automatically sent to my account after I fulfill my appointment. I've tried the travel portal and it is impossible for me to get though all the screens. The VA has the date , time and milage already in their system. Just make payment an automatic step.

Literally everything that can be made digital should be made digital.

Making our own appointments at VA Med Centers online instead of phone calls which take forever to connect. I find it difficult to get into the queue and then wait forever. I know some of the appointments may be possible to get online, but all of them should.
