I used a couple when I was transitioning to get a job, I may use one to find people! I still get emails on a regular basis. Which ones did you use or talk to, and why you think it is good or better than others?

If you have suggestions on the ones you used, I'd love to pass them to a buddy of mine. He's an O-3 biochemist looking to transition to civilian.

Don't limit yourself to the old stanby companies - Bradley Morris, Orion, Lucas...They're good, but they're expensive enough that smaller companies can't afford to use them. Utilize force multipliers like your state Veterans Commission, as well as linking up with as many local staffing agencies as possible. Those people want to find you a job, and they are a direct voice to the recruiter's ear selling you as a favorable candidate. I used several in Houston, and actually was employed by three of them.

I found this link whilst looking for something else. I will do what I can to help my fellow vets find a job.

David,

Orion International http://www.orioninternational.com/
Lucas Group http://www.lucasgroup.com/
Bradley Morris Inc http://www.bradley-morris.com/

All three have been doing this for a long time and have good reputations.
