For a prior veteran/ selected reservist trying to back active duty which avenue is better to take? Reserve to Active component or Full time support package?

going active duty does have its benefits but also depends on the person. FTS does have its benefits compared to Selected Reserves but Active Duty has its benefits to. With FTS you would have to see if they have your job open if you crossed from Active duty. sometimes you will have to change jobs going to FTS.

I honestly don't know what you mean by full time support package but I would go Active component. Your entitlements are much better as well as the benefits and opportunities. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the tuition assistance to get a couple degrees.

Full time support is staying going back active far as schedule pay and all that but you are technically still a reservist. I see what your saying though. Thanks
