The kind of conversations held with closed minded individuals, where no amount of proper documentation and/or proof will get them to see any other opinion or idea other than their own.

Right now the bathroom issue is way over the top for me SPC Rory J. Mattheisen especially since the Obama administration threatened to pull the plug on founding for each school district that doesn't comply with its use what ever bathroom you feel you should to use approach.

LTC Stephen F. - Great way to waste time and money, the only option left on the table is to segregate the LGBT students and that is not going to happen. The dumbest portion of this argument is that the only people who are taking issue with it are parents and all these "parents" are doing is passing their prejudices on to their children.
Children learn their malicious behavior from the adults in their life, this is just a continuation of bathrooms for coloreds and frankly I am disgusted that Americans still can't understand what EQUAL means.
I wish the people who oppose the civil rights of the LGBT community had the nerve of those who opposed the right of the blacks so that it could be handled and filed under covered by the Constitution.

SPC Rory J. Mattheisen - 1. As far as the administration is concerned the parents/guardians are the only ones who are authorized to verify a student is transgender. [my response to your statement "dumbest portion of this argument is that the only people who are taking issue with it are parents and all these "parents" are doing is passing their prejudices on to their children."]
2. Nobody is advocating infringing on LGB students rights or responsibilities. That is a red herring.
3. I was raised by immigrant parents to respect people independent of race, nationality, creed or religion. I got into trouble because I was no prejudiced growing up in and around Philadelphia, PA in the 1960s and early 1970s and I carried that attitude forward when I enlisted in 1974. SP5 Christine Conley - I tagged you because I was responding primarily to SPC Rory J. Mattheisen; but, since you mentioned the American Taliban right below his I wanted to include you as well since I have generally found your posts to be well-reasoned.
When you mentioned American Taliban it reminded me of a cartoon I saw the other day.
