With the Army changing its dress uniform, physical fitness uniform, and now its combat uniform which do you predict will be changed next?

The Combat uniforms more often than the other two, and will be changing again as soon as we think we know where we are going in the next conflict...or as soon as we realize that the color scheme for the region our troops are working in does not actually work the same as they did in the last conflict.

That would be a return to the old school, something I might support.

The old 2 canteen carry. One to hydrate and one to dehydrate.

LOL. Had forgot about that. I remember we were doing a road march and one of the sergeants grabbing a canteen from the guy in front of him and taking a BIG drink and coughing up a lung...a rude surprise for the person expecting something different.

The OCP pattern is definitely better than the digital UCP pattern. The only place that UCP would be effective is a gravel pit. We should stick with the OCPs.

That digital Camo works good is sagebrush in fall my son wore it on an Idaho elk hunt and it was best pattern there. But I don’t know how it worked in Southwest Asia

I just think it is time to drop dress uniforms completely. There are other ways to teach attention to detail. The uniforms are not conducsive to being worked in, ( even at a desk). Something always pops off. Let's face it, some Soldiers just don't know how not to make a mess of what they are wearing. No matter how down graded, they are hot and muggy, especially in the summer. The fact is the Army, (and all services branches) should consider getting rid of a lot of ceremonies and traditions that are still around "Just because." Most Soldiers today do not even understand basic commands for D&C. When uniform inspections come, most Soldiers go to the local "sew shop" in they're area and pay to have the uniform pressed and have the awards and decorations properly put on. Ceremonies, balls, and any other event that requires a "dress uniform" you have to force Soldiers to do seemingly at gun point. Why not focus more on war fighting and less on gaudy uniforms and functions no one really wants to attend. This would also save the Army as well as Soldiers money. If for some reason this command since approach were to ever be a reality, morale would explode across the services.

Get rid of the OCP two piece flight suit. Either go back to the one piece that everyone else uses or use a solid od green or tan. This uniform is so expensive and is maybe the worst uniform I’ve worn in 27 years as an aviator. All for the sole purpose of looking like everyone else.

The UCP uniform doesn't need to be changed, but it would be nice to put the rank back on the collar and allow us to see everything in. Velcro sucks.

Onesie sleep uniform or an off-duty uniform for when you aren’t in uniform.
