With the Army changing its dress uniform, physical fitness uniform, and now its combat uniform which do you predict will be changed next?

They could go to a gender neutral dress uniform . Dress jacket and blouse , kilt lower . Ha

Fatigues and TWs khaki color worked fine for me in early to mid 70s. Dress blues were what they were dress blues, for formal occasions. Plus as an officer we have buy this stuff out of our pocket every time some C of S got some idea to change

Black? I get the symbolism behind it but its literally the worst color to choose durring hot days in the year. Im not saying white would be better but reverse the colors and it would have made more sense. OCP was just changed and id like to see the same but more on the digital side because it seems thats where all branches are going. ACUs were digital yes but the color choice was where they went wrong not the style type. Greys and white? Are we trying to blend in with concrete walls? Nope lol we fight in the desert and jungle mostly. So why grey? Dress uniforms are pretty highspeed though i liked the army green ones from way back and i dont luke blending in with marines and coast guard if were trying to stand out as the army.

Probably all of them will get changed again. Army Senior Leadership appears addicted to uniform changes.
For my money, we need an additional option in our class B's. A nice Khaki shirt and tie along with khaki or brown pants would be a welcome addition to wear as opposed to a white shirt that just doesn't stand up for everyday wear.

Get rid of the pc and wear berets while state side and ball caps while deployed they're stupid and ball caps just look better and you can have the Velcro rank velcroed to the front

Way back in the day, we had these miracle fastening devices which were cheaper than Velcro and didn't come loose in the wash. And the last time I checked in a PX (about 6 years ago), a sewing kit was less than $3, which made it less expensive than even a single set of Velcro tabs for ACUs.

The beret is the most useless piece of headgear ever devised. It is hot, uncomfortable, requires way too much maintenance before you ever even put it on, and serves absolutely no purpose. I remember when I was in WLC in Korea. It was during monsoon season & because we had formation four or five times a day, my beret never dried out during the entire thirty days I was there. The PC at least has a visor yo shield your eyes from the sun. One of the best days I had in the Army was the day we got rid of thr beret & went back to the PC.
