Who has the best looking camo?

Marine Deserts for sure. I can remember every Wednesday in Iwakuni that's what we wore.

Even though I spent over 23 years in Army BDUs and ACUs. I think that the USMC digital uniform in desert and woodland looks more effective than the Army ACUs. The patterns that the Army is working on shows some promise, but the ACU pattern was useless. It sticks out in most terrains.

Navy, just because I hated not being able to roll our sleeves in ACUs.

I am partial to the US ARMY ACU but, I prefer the original woodlands versus this new digi look. HOOAH!

Navy - I don't even begin to know what they were thinking

When the USAF had to order the Forward Air Controllers to stop wearing the ABU in the field because it identified them to the enemy, that was a stinging rebuke.

The Navy apparently wants a uniform that blends in if they fall overboard.

As a Soldier, I can say unequivocally that the ACU is an abortion with so many things wrong with it, I have no idea how it was approved. That it took ten years while at war to undo the error is doubly concerning.

That the Marines got it right the first time is a testament to the Corps' knack of doing more with less resources.

The marines did it right by looking at multiple uniforms to cover several areas of operation. If we went to the multi cam or a variant some time this century we would be on the same level.

The cammo is what it is...in the right place any will work and so far, short of the alien armor in the movie Predator, much depends on when and where it is used.
