I am all about helping the military in any form or shape and was curious who here is a lifetime VFW member Like I am. Did you ever think about becoming a VFW member or have helped the VFW

I have been a lifetime member of the VFW since 1993. I also belong to the American Legion. Both organizations are great at helping veterans in many ways. It is good to be around others that have served in the military for comrade and support when needed.

I joined the VFW 12 years ago because the guys in Korea made the VFW a great place to get the first round of drinks for the night and those old men had some great advice, I became a life member after my first tour to Iraq when i realized what it was all about and saw that i needed to be a part of it.

I am VFW 9653 Morrisville Vermont from Gulf War era. Love the legion post 33 as well and sons of the American legion.The service officers are second to none and you get to continue your service to veterans and your community.

Life Member at large. Like many others, I joined and later upgraded.

Gold Legacy Life member; as a Life member you never have to worry about paying every year and it's also a bargain!

I've been a member in the past, but it always seemed that when the time came, I never got a membership renewal. I would always let it lapse. How much is lifetime membership for someone that is early 40s? I'll renew it sooner or later. Same thing with American Leigon and DAV. It just seems that it is something that most active duty do not pursue but wait till they get out to join.

If you cannot find out how much it costs - try the VFW.org website. You can actually rejoin/join and pay online (it what I did). Don't hesitate to contact me if you have issues - I may not know all the answers - but I sure as hell know who to talk to in order to get the answers.
