I loved the Military and should of stayed and retired, but I guess it wasn’t in the cards, I did do 12 years in Reserve and went to Desert Storm, from Sept. to end of July.

President John F Kennedy who was injured when PT 109 was hit. His saying stuck with me to this day. " Ask not what your country can do for but what you can do for your country."

My father was a major influence in my decision to serve. He loved his country and served for 20 years in the Navy. I took the oath because of his great example.

I read an article about the Marine Corps in high school and was influenced by two Marines I knew who graduated ahead of me and joined the Marine Corps. They returned to the school and impressed me with their change.
