I've met some interesting people here and there but they all met Time Magazines "person of the year" for 2003.

My family, neighbor's, fraternity families and fellow Soldiers. Entertainers and athletes are simply paid performers who I really have no loving or value connection with. Politicians are employees. Perfomers and politicians have the trappings of their success, but most do not share my values. Think about this: Who would you be more excited to se at the airport after a deployment, you loving spouse and kids or Tom Brady?

Haven't really met anyone, worked security at a few concerts. Got to meet some band members, stuff like that. For military, I missed out on meeting SMA Dailey and the Secretary of the Army, can't remember if it was Fanning or Murphy. Cancelled a trip to Arlington when both of them were going to be there.
I did meet a One Star once, otherwise nothing much.

COL Lee Flemming Andre Aggasi. He even gave my wife a high five. Arnold Palmer. Got his autograph. Hall of Famer Bob Feller. I have his autographed picture in my den. Wille Mays. Talked breafly with him and got an autograph. Bob Larson. Only pitcher to pitch a no hitter in the World Series. (I guess all I met were sports figures.)

I got to meet Colin Powell, which was an honor. But I also got to meet Harrison Ford, and I didn't wash my hand for a week!

COL Lee Flemming Many Medal of Honor recipients including Nicky Bacon and Leo Thorsness. I met SSG Bacon when I had just returned from Vietnam and we were standing in line outside a snack bar at Fort Hood, I turn around for a second and Nicky is there in his Class A's and I could not help to notice that top ribbon of blue with white stars. Col Thorness I met while volunteering at the Medal of Honor Convention a number of years ago. A class act, he is thanking me and my twin brother for our service. He had it all wrong as he was a Prisoner of War, brutally beaten and a Medal of Honor recipient and we told him so. We lost him a few years ago. Me on the left, my brother on the right and Col Thorsness in the middle.
