Who would I have to contact to volunteer for EOD? What are things I can expect from the EOD course?

Not sure who to contact (other than your Retention NCO) but from every EOD tech I've known...they say that the course has a VERY HIGH failure rate.

You have to contact the EOD unit at your post for an interview and bomb suit test. In addition, you'll need a TS clearance and the required line scores. Take that to your Career Counselor for a date. Expect the interim TS to take 6-9 months so plan accordingly

Hmmm I don't know of any unit on my installation, nor does my first line, is there any EOD website or something where I can see where they are located? I already got my clearance btw. Thanks SFC.

SGT(P) (Join to see) any major base should have an EOD unit located on there. Just plug your base, or the closest post with a division, and the words ordnance disposal into the old Googlator and it should come right up.
