Why are OIF and OEF VETS targeted as terrorists in life and social media ?

I have seen and heard that OIF and OEF VETS are been watched by the government and being labeled as terrorists to the US. So I watched a lawyer explain why this is after the police arrested a VET Marine for basically condemning the Obama administration. He gotta lawyer and got all charges dropped so to me that is crazy.

There are rumors that Operation Vigilant Eagle, targets veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. That they are being viewed as potential domestic terrorist threats because they may be “disgruntled, disillusioned or suffering from the psychological effects of war.”
