I am 76 years old and need a lot of meds that I must pay for out of pocket. I am n ot a rich man and could use the support I was getting when living in Ca, Why won't the VA help me here? I have have been denied meds and help. I did get Nitro once after demanding and making a scene. Didn't want to, but I was desperate. I am the same person I was in Ca. why won't the VA help me here?

Why not go to the VA Manila Regional Benefit Office and the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic and ask them.

I believe there may be pushback on certain meds that aren't "legal" in the PHL. I know of an individual in the UK that cant get certain meds because they arent legal.

Did you fully transfer over to the VA hospital in the Philippines or are you still viewed as a California patient? They may be pushing back because you aren't their patient and they aren't your primary. I would contact them directly and go over your options.
