I take naps at times. Sometimes I seem to have vivid dreams to the point I scare the family. When I wake up I can’t remember what I was dreaming about.

I have been to therapy for quite a while and a lot of it is about dreams and nightmares, my therapist got me started with a dream journal where I enter everything it the moment I wake up, now to remember them you have to concentrate on remembering them BEFORE you go to sleep meditate on as you are trying going to sleep you have to do it every day, there are even audiobooks on Audible you can listen to with guided sleep affirmations that can help I use it every night and remembering my dreams has been one of the things that has helped me get a handle on my nightmares and survivor guilt

PFC James (LURCH) Janota Recalling dreams takes practice. Some I remember, some I don’t, the theme of the dream is usually based on your personal wants or disappointments. (At least, mine are). Having a Patrol Cap in my closet eased the dream of not having a uniform readily available!

I was told that this the most creative and rewarding aspect of sleep. Keep a pen and pad handy, if you can’t remember, oh well!
