Can we change things so we don't ever do this again? Nation building....not defining objectives...not defining victory...not abandoning those who helped us.

Recognize the social structure of the country. Tribal affiliation is more important than national governments or borders. Taliban tribal territory extends into Pakistan. Can’t very well bomb Pakistan.
