Why did you join the military? It could be anything. Everyone is different. Some do it for religious reasons (i.e. God, Faith, etc...) others join for Family, good pay and more. Please share what sparked your interest in the military, and why you decided to fight for your country. Thank you!

Col Regional Director, Whem/Ssa And Congressional Liaison
We've all had something that motivated us to seek-out a recruiter or officer selection officer... what was it for you? What motivated you to reenlist, stay in, or to sign-up? Perhaps it was a respected family member, coach, or community leader that you looked up to; for some of us it was adventure, travel, training, discipline, or physical fitness, and others it was simply to get out of the hometown for awhile and see something new. Whatever the reason, I thoroughly respect your decision to serve, and have always been interested in what drives each of you to selflessly serve your nation. Many citizens 'think about' military service, everyone in this group signed-on-the-dotted-line to actually 'perform' military service... so,what was it that motivated you most to make (or continue) that commitment? Please feel free to share any photos, web links, sound files or anything needed to tell your story. Thank you for all that you do each-and-every-day, and... see you all in the discussion threads!
