Why do you think there are so many school shootings now as opposed to say 25 to 30 years ago? We all know that guns can’t shoot themselves, so obviously that is not the problem in my opinion. I honestly believe that there is a direct correlation between the rise of school shootings and the taking of God out of the classroom, and kids not getting a well deserved a** whooping. Thoughts on this?

You have hit the nail on the head but no one is willing to admit this fact because it goes against the narrative we have been being spoon feed for all these decades. Some have actively tried to tear away our moral foundations and have left a vacuum in it places and then need to try to find a scapegoat as the answer to the poisonous crop they planted and we are now reaping.

Myth: Mass public shootings are increasing
MASS SHOOTINGS - Mass Public Shootings 1976 through 2011Fact: Over a 35-year period, the number of mass public shootings rose during the violence escalation decades of the 1970s and 1980, then leveled off, despite a growing population and greater availability for firearms (more people, more guns).

Special Note: The FBI created a study of what they labeled “active shooter” events from 2000-2013, but they merged both ASEs and MPSs. Combined, this data shows an increase whereas other studies that separate the two do not. But it must be noted that their study starts in the year 2000, which had an abnormally low number of public shootings (only one).

I agree, people mock Christianity but it makes a better person. Children/teens need to be trained to be good adults. There is a total lack of discipline. Children are being raised with no father's to teach them how to be good men. Girls have no father's to look to as examples of good husband's. Society has pitted women against men and men against women. God is cast out and now children look to other children as examples of how they should act. Finally, social media has given every child the ability to verbally destroy a classmate, torture them to the point where they feel their life is destroyed.... When a child feels all this... They are still children and they will act in the only way they really understand. They will revert to primal instinct and attack their attacker. I simply refuse to believe the any school shooter was a very popular person that was loved and treated well by everybody in school my guess is they were treated horribly they were called names probably pushed around in the hallways please like total s***. It is likely if you just stop the bullying in school you wouldn't get people shot up.

Too much time in front of the tv, lack of parental discipline, not enough time outside and a lack of God in the family home.

We have become so liberal, relaxed laws to many parents not being parent, to many drugs and to much PC with to many personal opinions and not the constitution

Because the Media and Politicians turn these events into circuses of every kind, and wannabe shooters see a chance for incredible fame. The word is copycat, and we can thank the Media.

Good question. I think it has a lot to do with de-institutionalization of many mentally ill people that took place in the late 70s and early 80s. There is also the copy cat factor, where individuals who have realized that their lives are meaningless and abnormal will commit outrageous crimes just to be famous for a moment. I think there is also a movement that convinces these monsters that their problems are caused by people/institutions in society, and that they are justified in taking revenge. And then there is how do you explain just plain batsh#t crazy? These things were extremely rare when I grew up, now they are common place.

There is a lack of family involvement with most children today.
Their problems can not be discussed at the home during family dinner time. It was done when I grew up at the dinner or at any time. My parents were always there when I need to resolve any problems which would effect physically and mentally.
Bullying and drugs are another major problem. The use of drugs to deal with mental issue is over prescribed.
We need more and better ways to deal with mental problems.

There is a lack of family bonding tiday with their own children about coping with problems , peer pressure, bullying and not knowing if their children are using drugs.
The use of drugs to alleviate behavior problems is over used today with many children.
Mental health is needed more today with the stress some children suffer from.
