Just out of curiosity I would like to know what it means to have to clear security when entering the AGR program. I’m being processed into the AGR program but I’m told I have to clear security before they can cut my orders. Does anybody know what that means?

A local records check, background check and mane even a National agency Check. Recommend you complete a DD Form 398 or update what you have...

Sir I’m taking a 36B position in Fort McCoy, WI. I have submitted my packet and it has been processed but my case manager told me she has to wait for me to clear security before she can cut me my orders.

They did the same too me when I took an AGR tour at National Guard Bureau. Just a verification of your clearance.

So it’s just a verification of my security clearance? Nothing more? No credit checks or anything?
