Why does it seem guys tend to use the same tools for a project: duct tape, pliers, knife, extension cord, and coat hanger?

I am assembling my home stereo and its kicking my ass. I have to contort my body, almost fell carrying a heavy box, and need to find a way to get the wires behind my entertainment to the speakers. I think I will use a broom stick.

If it works it is not stupid. We as a Nation tend to overthink everything. I had a problem with ladybugs in the bathroom, instead of getting caulking I used elmers glue to shut the bugs out. Hey it worked.

I am retired.....I opened my tool chest and took out a lightweight set of ratchets, a flathead and a Phillips. A small lightweight hammer. Then I gave all the rest to my brother, If I need them he comes with them.... My Motto these days are simple, if it moves and is not supposed to, Duct tape. It it doesn't move and is supposed to WD40. Any additional problems call brother....
