PFC Stephen Eric Serati - The strongest argument for Obama or Clinton is that compared to most Republicans, they seem relatively benign at first glance. However if you look deeper you will see that when it comes to the really important stuff, they are about the same as most Republicans. On renewable energy, fracking, deep sea drilling and climate change we get a lot of talk... however in the end we wind up drilling and fracking more than any administration prior to Obama. When it comes to looking out for American workers we get a lot of talk, however in the end Democrats are just as likely to deregulate banks and industry and sign on to incredibly destructive free trade agreements as any Republican president. Hello SSG Colwell.I tend to agree with your 1st 2 sentences,they have voted for somethings that were Republican in origin,but now Republicans won't vote for anything even things they supported in the past.On your next thought,you get a bonus,that's one of my disagreements or was I understand why he is doing it,but squeezing every nutrient out of the soil,allowing shoddy casings,poisonous chemicals in the ground to seep into our soil and subterranean water supply,drilling to shallow,lack of transparency.No I'm not sure it's worth it either.But to become energy dependent he had to for now.This fracking was originally President Bushes baby he deregulated it to where things like fire water,and earthquakes are a problem.The same can be said about the oil industries.There was this years summit there is Hope,but we need the right leadership in the UN Secretary Position coming open at the end of the year.Advances in satellite technology have made it to where you can monitor a countries bad habits,but there needs to be a mechanism of enforcement.TPP,to me what I've heard,researched,and those Buisness Forward cons calls on it.I like what I know about it,and trade is very important for any nations bottom line it can determine the quality of life for those participating in it.It can make or break us as a nation.Thats why it behooves all of us to do our own research don't be afraid to think out side the perverbial box.We need trade so how do you do a great trade deal.On big corporations in politics,easy,overturn citizens united.Oh Wall Street start jailing them.
