Why is Rally Point Endorsing a Political Candidate?

They ran an ad for Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.), a former Marine officer and Iraq veteran. Not only was it an ad, it was a request for financial support. I did receive a message from the administrators? (there was no name given). They basically said that Rep. Moulton was a good guy who supported vets and was a veteran himself. That wasn't my question. I wouldn't want a Republican or a Democrat or any candidate endorsed by this platform. But I guess it is privately owned and they can show a bias. But their response does lead back to my question again...what does this platform want to be? A sounding board for E-4s who don't like authority? (lot's of these types of posts), a business networking site? News site?
