Why is the enlisted OML changing for active duty SSGs?

I was reviewed for the FY21 SSG evaluation board. I received my OML and that number hadn’t changed since I received it in May 2021. January 2022, however, I noticed that my number increase by two, (meaning I went down in priority by two positions) without a new bird result being posted.
Why did my OML change? This doesn’t make any sense to me. The new OML is not posted, and the SSG evaluation board doesn’t begin until 1FEB22.

The most likely answer is that two new people were accessed into your MOS who had an OML from their old MOS, and were given a new OML number comparable in position to their standing in their previous MOS OML

Oh I didn’t even consider that… do you mean they changed their MOS? But at SSG, I’m not sure that’s possible

SSG (Join to see) yes medical reclass most of the time. Other reasons are people who weren't considered in the board but should have been and request a STAB. They get evaluated at the next rank's board, given a score and slotted into the OML
