SrA James Hall that second when you try to insult Boyd but then realize he already accomplished more before he was a CC then you ever had the sack too. Damn.

SFC (Join to see) That's the problem with people like you, they need the title of Army to prove they're tough. I've been a firefighter for 15 years and I'm completely satisfied with my career. Just because I started in the Air Force rather than the Army has no bearing on the size of my balls, just my brains.

SrA James Hall except your initial comment shows how much of a lie that is. Tried to look down on the CC and then got shown that you were just a punk. So yeah, keep being insecure and telling yourself that.

SFC (Join to see) My initial comment has to do with the immaturity of the response. There are more mature replies coming from the lower ranking service members than the senior NCOs. You don't have to be in the Army to have balls, but if you need that to prove that you have balls then have at it. I was asking a legitimate question.

Airborne is only in the air for as long as it takes to get to the DZ. After that they are Light Infantry.

SrA James Hall - Marines traditionally fall under Navy. It is not only US Marines, but marines in other countries armed forces have same organizational structure historically. Although Army relied on Navy ships for transportation before advent of airplanes, Marines focused on expeditionary war, ship to ship fighting and also performed Naval security during sea duty

SrA James Hall by that justification the USAF should still fall under the Army Air Corps

Because it's a battlefield capability in order to meet ground combat objectives. The Army needs the capability. The Air Force controlling an Airborne division would be giving them a bunch of unneeded responsibility with little benefit to their mission set.
