Why would my background check status change from cleared to pending? Would having recently attended SHARP class have an impact?

I'm on orders for drill sergeant. I have my phase 1, 2, and 3 schedule and I have a report date to Fort Jackson in May 2021 however, my background check went from cleared to pending but I was told I was good to go by the drill sergeant branch. Do anyone have any idea why it went from cleared to pending? Also, side note I was cleared two months ago to attend SHARP class if that has anything to do with it? I'm thinking it was previous cleared because of the SHARP background check. what are yall thoughts?

If drill sergeant Branch says you’re good and you’ve got ATRRS reservations, you’re coming to school. If at some point that changes, you’ll have an opportunity to rebuttal. During that period, you’ll be allowed to continue in training (most cases).

SFC Barnwell, good morning. I was on the trail from 2016-2019 and was cleared by position of trust branch at HRC. To this day my background data on the HRC website still says pending. I am fairly confident you are good to go. Good luck and enjoy the trail!

As stated by SFC Avarez, check with your Security Manager. They should be able to tell you what is going on, just in case. That is their job. Do it by email, remember, CYOA

Ok, thanks! I just heard the horror stories about when some people get to class and get kicked out if their background check doesn’t clear.

No one in my class god kicked back. They are usually pretty quick to find out. And as far as mental health evals go, the USADSA doesn’t require them anymore. As long as you have nothing to hide on the background check, you’re in the clear! SFC (Join to see)

What I can confirm in most cases is that, if you have an ATRRS date and no flags, you’re expected to be there on your report date.
