I'm old enough to recall when Lyndon Johnson's campaign had a TV ad with a young girl that morphed into a Atom Explosion which just about destroyed Barry Goldwater's campaign for President.

What destroyed Goldwater, which the GOP is loath to admit, was his voting against the Civil Rights Bill.

The problem the Hillary campaign has in dealing with Trump is he isn't the typical politician. You can't destroy him by conventional means. And I'm sure the campaign will not figure it out in time to prevent a Trump Presidency.
