Will I be able to re-enlist to hit my High Year of Tenure (HYT)?

I got my FTA BOP accepted last Thursday, my RNLTD is August 31, 2017, which means I have to reenlist within 30 days for retain ability. VMPF says that I am eligible to reenlist I have a reenlistment code of 1R. The problem is I hit HYT on April 3, 2020, which is less than years away. I have read through the AFI36-2606 and it's confusing me. Am I going to be able to reenlist to my hyt ?

I'm literally going through the exact same thing right now. my RNLTD is the exact same as yours. My HYT is December 2019, and I have a lot of senior leadership pointing me in the right direction, so right now it's looking like I will be able to reenlist to my HYT. I don't see why you couldn't.
