I’m trying to drop a DD368 to go active. I’m currently serving in the army national guard. If it gets approved and I go to meps. Will I have to do height and weight? My recruiter says I will not and I will only have to do paperwork.

Any time you go to MEPS you'll do Ht /wt. If you can't pass Ht/wt now don't come onto active duty because you'll be flagged the second you inprocess.

Odd that a Soldier still is under the gun of the Scale, yet they can now serve while they are confused about gender and the use of their genitalia.... Mental Illness is OK as is the extreme expense that will come with the Delusion-affirming treatment, but don't let a person have a medical reason for being over-weight......

If you are NG you should have a PHA and be Green on all MEDPROs. If you are then you would do NO Medical Processing meaning you will not be doing HT/WT.

So I came back in Dec 2017 and because I had my MEDPROS up to date i didn't have to do the physical portion. I only went to do the contracts and then on the day i shipped out i left

I suggest you ask the current recruiter you're working with if it's till that way.

Will I do height and weight at meps if I’m only switching from national guard to active duty?

When I went active Army from the Air Force , I had to do height & weight. This was almost 3 years ago though, so it might have changed either way I’d make sure you can pass height & weight regardless

Yes. You will do height and weight when you go to MEPS. That is a guaranteed. As long as you can pass both, don't sweat it. At any rate even if they do not, your first gaining AD unit will do it. Pay now or pay later.
