Honest answer, from my experience, if you do not have a profile that prohibits you, is you will do Physical Training up until your first day of clearing, Other things that will effect PT is your ACAP schedule, if you have not already completed it.

Once your phase 2 physical is complete you won’t have to do pt to avoid you injuring yourself and having something else to claim medically. I’m just confused as to why this is important. (No disrespect intended)

Don't cheat your body! ..........Sorry about that. Just something I used to say during PT when I was a Drill Sergeant. Just a flashback. Disregard.

It is only a myth that you are not required to do PT after doing your separation physicals. Not the answer you want to hear, but it is the legal answer. Now, some commanders do allow Soldiers separating to not conduct PT so many days before their ETS, however, those are usually specific cases or risk-adverse commanders. It is NOT the norm.

WUT? No.
If you have a valid military profile that precludes you from all PT, yes.
I guess the question I would have is if you were that broke, why were you doing PT yesterday?
Oh, that's right. Because the Army said so.

The real question should be "If I have a documented medical condition, what do I need to do to ensure I do not cause more injury?" That is the question you should ask your leadership. You are likely to find a very simple answer.
You may look back a few years from now and realize that skipping a few PT sessions was petty. Enjoy your remaining time and thank you for serving.

I kept doing PT after my retirement physical.

**Check your unit's policy board/book, the information you want should be there.**
