Will I lose my ALC seat if I change units?

If you're doing a PCS move try going through your branch, I did ALC TDY En-route to Germany with no issues. Not exactly sure who funded it to be honest but it may be an option for you.

Thank you, they don't want me to leave and my training NCO said I would lose my seat if I left. I would think now it is up to command decision to cancel my class or not. A fellow soldier said he changed units and his seat didn't get cancelled but that could based on command decision I'm guessing since I would be leaving the command group.
