Will my unit deploy me after I enter Into the IRR?

I finish my 6 years in November and join the IRR. My unit has me on the books to deploy in December even though my IRR contract is supposed to start. What is going to happen so I can plan my life? My unit is not responsive.

When my unit was up for deployment everyone who had an ETS before the deployment date and did not want to re-enlist got sent to another unit to finish out their contract. I can’t say yes or no.. but for my unit, no if you ETS’D prior to the deployment you were not going.

My ETS date is 2 years from now due to IRR. That is likely why I’m on the books.

My unit was scheduled to deploy later this year. My ETS Is in May.. not including the 2 year IRR. I put in to be conditionally released for Active duty and was approved, my fellow soldiers who ETS before the deployment were sent else where... the soldiers that WERE ETSing DURING the deployment were being made to go and extend until the unit returned home. That’s the last word I got from anyone, it’s been a few months since I’ve been apart of that unit. SPC Michael Correa
