Upon arrival to Fort Bragg and completion of inprocessing with the installation’s Reception Company, you will go through the Airborne Integration Course (AIC). AIC is a week long course where you will become familiarized with the 82nd Airborne Division’s history and culture, fulfill basic administrative requirements, and attend Basic Airborne Refresher (BAR) if necessary.

Yeap- when I got there in 89 it was a week of in processing. The obligatory bomb threat that put us out in the street at 2 am and a car full of paratroopers yelling CHERRIES as they speeded by.

Considering some of the issues faced by the Division, the process is totally necessary.
