Will the Baltimore riots be used as an excuse to further militarize the police?

It's been done before. And all this uprising is coming just as Congress is trying to STOP police Militarization. I'm not into conspiracies, but it's very convenient. Especially when violent crimes are shown to be on the decline, yet the police are still ramping up for war.

I don't beleive that is the sole purpose but they need to be careful for what they wish for. The Baltimore issue now is about politics nothing more. Watch how things unfold, there is no way Six Officers get charged that quickley unless there is overwhelming evidence to support the DA's claim. They want to show the people of Baltimore their city council has their backs, what they did is they gave the Police Officers more excuses to back off and let them kill each other with consequences.

Nationalized maybe. It seams the present trend is body cams which may be provided via Federal Government grants. The bigger problem will be the cost of data storage.
