Will the bonuses for re-enlisting for 79R apply to me if I push my extension to the maximum allotted time?

I am currently in the process for reclassing to 79R. I have 2 yrs left on my contract so I am being told I will have to extend after I convert. The bonuses for re-enlisting for 79R are substantial. Will those same bonuses apply to me if I push my extension to the maximum alloted time?

Yes the bonus is bigger the longer you reenlist; no bonus for extending.
If you have to extend for an MOS and that MOS is eligible for a bonus, you are eligible to reenlist for that bonus.
