Use of militia and armed forces to enforce Federal authority Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion"

I don't know what charges are being made by the FBI, I know some involve destruction of property etc. The "tourist" who rand through the capitol on Jan 6th did certainly, ". . . make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States i. . . " In this case the election laws.

The long list of responses shows a HUGE number of people who bought in to Trumps big lie. A president who doesn’t understand our voting process, i e, absentee/mail in ballot, even though he used that format many times, is the problem. Making unfounded allegations and constantly repeating those allegations doesn’t make them fact. Many states investigated the “stolen election” allegations and did not find any basis of fact of said allegations. Trumps own Attorney General stated that there was NOT enough fraudulent voting that would effect the outcome of the election. I am surprised at the number of “educated” people who have bought into this lie. He lost, move on, there’s another election coming up where we get to exercise our right to vote again.

It’s amazing how we suck-up to lying politicians who admit they purposely delayed assisting the American people because “she” didn’t like or support a legitimate President. Now to shame a Veteran by removing the benefits that was decided they once did earn we rejoice? We are spiritless warriors to Nancy “the rich” Pelosi. Pretty sure the only way anyone can lose their VA benefits is if convicted of a felony. Thinking of the one officer in Columbus, Georgia. His daughter was using his GI bill benefits, though he committed suicide just before serving his sentence. Sad story.

Wow after reading the following post I was appalled at the blind ignorance of the writer, you took an oath but apparently it meant that only those who agree with your political views are worthy of your protection? Those insurrectionists tried to stop the Democratic process of electing our representatives threatening our Constitution the protests over last summer weren't political but social.

Agreed. They are not worthy of wearing the uniform nor benefiting from it!
