Windows.
Windows keeps me employed. I love that it is buggy, has dubious security, and is the primary target of the malware generators--it all keeps me in demand.

Let's see. Microsoft xp with Norton, virus wipe reinstall. Black ice, virus wipe reinstall, trend micro, virus wipe reinstall. Commercial virus scan installed by Geek Squad, virus wipe and reinstall. Apple, no virus scan in 3 years and NO VIRUS!!!!!!! Ummmm, Apple hands down!!!

If I had ever given any serious to thought to buying an Apple (and I never had) that would have ended when I learned that Apple can reach all the way from Cupertino into every machine with out the owner's permission.
I had to support BYOD systems for Citrix services (So; Apple, *NIX, Android...). Java has had a lot of security issues over the last year and a half or so--Apple had unilaterally turned Java off on all networked Apple devices. If it were my machine, I'd be furious.

I had to look that up never heard of it. I'm not really a computer geek. No disrespect intended.

MSgt (Join to see) I consider myself a computer geek and I had never heard of Mint 17 until now.

Strange; it's been at the top of DistroWatch for some time now.
I switched from Ubuntu over a year ago.

Cinnamon is why I went with Mint. Ubuntu gave me a lot of trouble with it, and I just couldn't stand Unity any longer.

I use both OS'. Both have good things over the other. I like the free OS updates from Apple. For work, obviously Windows is the way to go. But, since I help a lot of home users, they are going more and more Mac from PC.
