That was going to be my next statement. Times have changed so much even since I was in school and our nation has gone downhill ever since.

SSG Steven E. sadly, I really do think that the government itself is the greatest threat to our security. Between putting party politics ahead of actually getting the business of the nation done, to centralizing as much power to the federal government as they can, to suspending civil liberties in the name of security, the government is fostering an environment that is a breeding ground for dissension and mistrust. Further by using tactics like race baiting to keep people from uniting, they are able to maintain that status quo.

PO3 Steven Sherrill I hear ya.. If we as a population ever learn to respect our neighbors again, and stand together again, shoulder to shoulder against any threat, regardless of any differences we may have.......

Lack of reliable leaders. When a nation does not have leaders that they trust to genuinely get them out of the hole that they have dug themselves into, we end up choosing the lesser of two evils. This does not promote or improve our security or nation. It just slows down the deterioration of it, but only by milliseconds.
