With the new NCOER, how do I tell my 1SG or immediate CoC, ie my rater and sr rater (who to my knowledge are both E-6s like me) I don't believe I will be rated properly because of the supply NCO s who work directly for them. I work in the kitchen with my soldier while the other supply guys are doing supply things

With the new system your rater must be senior to you by at least one rank, and the senior rater by two. If the SR is an LT, you will need an additional reviewer. The system will not accept an NCOER with all SSGs in the rating chain. Also, 1sg should know how the new rating systems works.

Doesn't it say senior in rank or by date of rank in AR623-3? So that would mean that an E6 who was the direct supervisor of another E6 could rate him as long as he had more time in grade.

CPT Lawrence Cable - only if the rater is senior in TIG. The senior rater must be at least 2 pay grades higher than the rated nco. In this case an E6 cannot senior rate, in this case it must be at least an E8 or GS9. Either way, the 1sg should ensure the rating scheme meets all requirements.

Honestly, just have a talk with your 1SG and explain your concern.
